Thoughts for the day, or rambling about.

Hello everyone,
I hope your day has started as well as mine has. I woke up well rested and feeling good. At my age this is a great thing. (Well if you must know, I am 72 years old). Just last week I was scheduled to get a hip replacement in about 3 and half weeks. I am looking forward to it, since I have a hard time walking. In fact it hurts like hell when I walk.

I want to spend a little time on getting old. As you can see I am 72 but I feel like I am only in my 20's. There were a lot of things I did when I was much younger that I sometimes regret, but I don't dwell on those things. I keep looking forward to doing new things. Getting a new hip is just one of the things I am looking forward to. I am also looking forward to earning an income on line. I have been persuing this avenue in business because I have an invalid wife that I take care of.
My retirement pay is no longer covering my expenses, so I have to get some extra income coming in.
I know that many people my age won't even touch a computer because they are afraid of them. So I say to the children of people my age, see if you can demonstrate to your parents what they are missing by not using a computer. Find out what they wanted to do in their life and was never able to accomplish. Show them how they can now do so.
Giving people a new passion in life, especially us older people, will reengerize their lifes and yours too.
