Went to the Doctor Again.

Yep! I went to the Doctor again yesterday. This was a new Doctor that I hadn't seen before. She specializes in arthritis and other associated ailments.
My reason for seeing this Doctor is because she does what is called rooster comb injections. These injections replace the missing cartilage in the joint. My left knee is in bad shape as a result of not having any cartilage in the knee joint.
My orthopaedic surgeon told me two years ago that I was a candidate for an artificial knee. I have already had one hip replaced due to wear out. That operation took six weeks to get my mobility back.
I can not afford to be out of action for another six to 12 weeks with a knee operation. So I am trying the rooster comb injection route. This operation will not require being laid up for any length of time.
For those people that don't know what rooster comb injections are, here is a link to a very informative article; http://www.articlesbase.com/medicine-articles/can-rooster-comb-injections-prevent-knee-replacement-244552.html

The Doctor said that I appear to be a good candidate for receiving this treatment. I certainly hope so.

hopefully yours,
gahillbilly
