You know, I hate it when I am unable to sleep. Last night try as I might I was unable to sleep. At first I was in a lot of pain, primarily in my knee and my lower back. After about an hour of laying there, I got up and took two of the good pills. Then I lay back down and tried to go to sleep again. I tried relaxation exercises, yoga, self-hypnosis and my mind just kept on racing.
So I got up and got on line and poked around looking at various things. Found a neat website called The Jing Project. It is a powerful screen-recording software, and it is free. It is simple and easy to use, and I plan to learn it and put it to use.
Changing the subject, I now have a new mattress and box spring to sleep on. It is a twin bed size and it is nice and firm and won't collapse like my air mattress did. Last Monday I was sleeping soundly when suddenly I woke up being smothered by my own sheets and blankets. The air mattress had collapsed and the fitted sheet did fit any more, it was wrapping me up in its tentacles, so there I am thrashing around with my legs and arms trying to fight my way free of the octopus covers trying to strangle me. I finally won my way free. Claudia took pity on me and give me some of her birthday money to buy a mattress and box spring with. Thank you love.
Claudia and I used to sleep together in a king size bed, but since she broke her leg she has had to sleep in a hospital bed while I have been sleeping on an inflatable bed or as now on a new mattress and box spring. I like to sleep in the same room with Claudia so that I can hear her in case of trouble. The hospital bed and my bed are both single beds so we have them lined up against the walls so that Claudia can get in and out of the bedroom and the bathroom with her power chair. Claudia can no longer transfer from bed to chair and back again by herself. She must have help. God help her she tries to do it herself but it just doesn't work.
Thank God I am still here and able to help her.
I reckon I have bored you all enough for now, so I will sign off.
God bless,
gahillbilly
