Hello folks,

I thought I would tell you about an upcoming show and tell, that I will be one of the stars for. The operation is called a "Chronic Total Occlusion Operation". The purpose of this operation is to go in and hopefully clear the front main artery in my heart, thus improving the blood flow to my heart.

The big news about this operation, is that it is relatively new, about 3 or 4 years old. The procedure is not yet approved by the FDA, but FDA approved trials are ongoing. I have included a link to an article on the procedure.

The procedure will take place sometime in August, and I will let you know when. In discussing this with my Cardiologist, he says that I am a good candidate, and that I should feel better and stronger after-wards.

After I have recovered from this procedure, I plan on having my left knee operated on, so that I can hopefully walk without the excruciating pain I currently have.
