Well, I went to a new orthopedic doctor today, since my previous orthopedic doctor wouldn't answer the phone or return my messages. This doctor told me that I was a candidate for a replacement knee, which I knew going in. I will be having the operation sometime in June, assuming I can find a Dentist who will give me a letter stating that my mouth is free of infection and abcesses. Well, we will see.
In the meantime, I will be going for a CT Scan this coming Friday because of currently experiencing abdominal pain virtually all the time. We will see what we will see.
In another posting I will provide details of what the knee surgery will entail. I is quite fascinating what they do to rebuild the knee. The inside of my left knee has no cartilage whatsoever and the thigh bone has ground into the tibia at least one-half inch.
