Awarded for my Service in the Army.

I doubt that many people are aware of the fact that I am a veteran of the Korean War. While I didn't actually serve in Korea I did serve in the Philippines. My active duty was in the Army Security Agency from September 1954 thru August 1957.

Anyway, Bristol Hospice(the people that took care of Claudia during her final weeks) honored a new friend of mine named William(Bill) Stanley and I for our service to our country.

Now I wouldn't make a big deal of this, except that this is the first time I have ever received any acknowledgement for my service, and I actually choked up over it. I am proud of my service, even though I don't talk about it, and I sincerely appreciate that Honor I was given today.

My thanks go to the Bristol Hospice personnel, especially Danny Parks the Chaplain for spear heading this effort, and believe me I know it was an effort.

God Bless you Bristol Hospice personnel for all of the wonderful service that you provide for the sick and dying. I appreciate it, as do all the families that you service.

That's all for now the gahillbilly.
