NO TITLE!

NO TITLE: The reason I say no title is because I haven't got one. I just finished taking a shower in preparation for bed and have no specific thing to talk about. I've just been thinking over the past week and the things I have been doing. I have written about them on FB and even here in my blog.

I was just thinking about my blog, first of all I just started doing this seven or so years ago, and doing it in a public venue. I don't believe anybody that knows me either family or friends especially people from my far past would believe I would ever write a blog or a journal or a diary. It doesn't matter what it is called, I would never do it.

Why? you ask? because I worked for the Army Security Agency (part of National Security Agency) for over 14 years, 3 years on active duty, then 11 years as a civilian employee, all for the same agency. It was a Top Secret series of assignments and I not only repaired crypto equipment, but I also did undercover spy work. that work and those assignments were top secret and I could not talk to or explain to my wife or my friends where I was really going, or what I was really doing. In this line of work, you don't write things down, you don't keep a journal or diary, and you certainly don't talk about your real line of work.

I spent a great deal of time away from my wife and 4 young children doing what I had to do. I'm positive that is why we broke up after 12 years of marriage.

No matter how I tried, I was never able to make it up to my children. I dutifully paid my child support even when it hurt to do so. My second wife Claudia found out about some of what went on with my spy days only after we got married and the NSA and FBI started doing background checks on Claudia and me, and monitoring our phone calls, our work and our social gatherings. And all this after I had left the ASA and gone to work in the electronics industry as an Engineering Technician and a Quality Control Technician.


To get back to the present, I have had to go to the Dentist to take care of removing rotten and infected teeth, which in the end it a good thing, because now I have been forced to face up to the fact that I must get a full upper denture, as I no longer have teeth on the upper gum. I think it is actually going to make eating a more pleasurable experience, and I should have a much brighter smile, actually showing teeth, which I haven't been able to do for quite a long time.

Now that I have received clearance from my Dentist and Cardiologist I have to call the orthopedic surgeon and schedule my knee replacement. My knee just keeps getting worse and worse.

I still take Simon and Felicity my grandkids to tko on Mondays, go to Church on Sundays, read a lot, and watch several favorite shows on TV. I also, use FB and email extensively.

I am trying to get my daughters sewing table shelves finished up for her, and I continue to make wooden toys for my own pleasure.

Currently, I am enjoying a cup of peppermint tea w/honey, which is very relaxing.
