Yearly Scrub Down of the Old Cavalier.

YEARLY SCRUB DOWN OF THE OLD CAVALIER.

OR EXERCISE TIME FOR THE OLD MAN.

Yep! that's right, it is time for the yearly scrub down of the 1994 Cavalier, that I keep telling myself I will get running and back on the road.

In case you aren't from Georgia, we have a twice yearly massive explosion of fornicating trees, flowers, bushes, and grasses. When I say an explosion I mean an explosion, you can see the pollen hanging over the country like smoke. The problem is so bad that it, of course collects on everything, especially on the windows of cars. I'm here to tell you that the pollen collects so thickly, that you actually have to wash off the windows before you drive to work, and no I ain't joking.

Anyway, since my Cavalier hasn't been running for about 4 years, it sits and collects pollen, dirt, pollution, bird droppings and anything else floating about in the air.

So when it comes time to clean it, it is a 2 hour job, with lots of cleaning solution, elbow grease, and copious amounts of high pressure water.

I can tell you for sure, that my heart beat went up to 114, and my blood pressure went down to 134/73, which is really, really great. Also, I didn't once have any angina(heart attack).

I might mention that the Cavalier is a really pretty robins egg blue now, where before cleaning it was grundgy, greasy, ugly, black.

So cleaning and exercising is a good thing, right?
