Tripping down memory lane.
Once again I wander down the meandering pathways of my memories. Along with Christmas comes the many, many fond memories of my wife's love of the holidays, especially Christmas. Not only did she love Christmas, but she loved shopping for the perfect gift for each person on her Christmas List. She had the marvelous ability to match her gift to each person's Personality and/or a match to what the person's true heart's desire. Not only did she shop for the person, but she managed to do it on a budget. Her shopping wasn't done the week or even the month before Christmas but all throughout the year.
She was very religious about changing the decorations in the house to match the season. I still have boxes of decoration, including knick-knacks, candle's, and bric-a-brac that she used to match each season and each Holiday.
Not only did she decorate, but she would cook and bake to match the season.
God how I miss her loving attention to detail.
May she rest in peace.
This is to wish everybody a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
yours from the gahillbilly.
