SURVIVING YET ANOTHER MAJOR OPERATION.

ONCE AGAIN SURVIVING ANOTHER MAJOR OPERATION.

Well folks, I have to say that my medical history is quite a story all on its own. This operation involved a major rework to my right hip. Why, you might ask! Because my original artificial hip started popping out of place on its own.

That's correct my right hip had to be replaced over 6 years ago and it worked just fine all that time Until December of 2014 when it just popped out of place. To say that, that hurt is putting it mildly. Just to make things more interesting, the damn thing popped out 4 more times in the next two months. Then it took me another month to get clearance from my dentist, my general practitioner, and my cardiologist. Then, on the day after my birthday, which happens to be February 16th, my hip had major rebuilding performed on it. The rebuilding involved putting a new plate in the hip, then a much larger ball on the bone extension with a second smaller ball inside it on a ball bearing base.

I am currently taking physical therapy at a place located about 10 miles from the house. The PT place is very professional and also very knowledgeable.
I plan to take every advantage of this as my hip muscles really need work done to reduce swelling and increase the muscle strength.

I remain grateful for my ability to have this kind of operation, and then recover as quickly as I do.
