Who turned down the thermostat?

Here it is May 15th, 2016, well into the spring of the year, and we wake up to 45 degrees, it was down right cold. Had to turn on the heat in the house, and wear a coat outside. Last week the Magnolia trees started blooming. Who knows whether they will continue to bloom.

I am sure this turn of events is due to global climate change.  At any rate, I reckon we had better get used to it, because it sure as hell is unlikely to go back to what we called normal, anytime soon. The North Pole and other Northern regions usually under glacial ice are no longer under ice. Even some of the South Polar glacial ice is melting a hell of a lot faster than it ever has in the past.

So I guess what I have to say is, wake up people and pay attention, life as we know it is changing. Get used to it.
