I'VE HAD BETTER DAYS!!

WHAT IS YOUR PLAN NOW LORD?

SOMETHING BETTER WILL COME OF THIS!

Yesterday, I had a bad day. I called State Farm Auto Insurance about their disposition on the repair of my Van.

I find out they have decided to salvage it, because the repair costs about the same as the value of the car. So I told them I was withdrawing my claim and will drive the the car as is.(Which by the way was fine to drive, as the damage was minor.)

By 10:00am I was at the Body Shop to pick up my car. I informed them that I had withdrawn my claim for repairs and was driving my car home. So I turned in my rental car(Paid for by the Insurance Company) and waited and waited for my car.
Finally, I said where was my car, and they came out and told me it was gone, they couldn't find it. They then figured the insurance company had already called the towing company and had it towed to the salvage yard.

So they called the Insurance company who told the Body Shop they had not asked for my car to be towed.

Finally they came out and told me the my Van had been stolen, They still had the keys, so the car had to have been hot wired. I was so damn mad I couldn't see straight. So I told the people at the body shop that somebody owes me a car.
I was very upset, I said I wanted to go home. So they gave me a ride home.

In the meantime the body shop called and filed a police report. An all points bullitan has been issued for the Van.

After being home for about one-half hour a policeman comes to the door asking me if I knew where my car was. I told him that somebody had stolen it from the body shop's lot and I had no clue as to who stole it or even why. It's a 24 year old van for God's sake. Why would anybody want to steal it??

So on Tuesday I find out I have to file another claim for a stolen car and the Body Shop absolves themselves of any responsibility because they have signs up everywhere stating that they are not responsible for circumstances beyond their control such as cars being stolen from their lot.

On Tuesday morning I have calmed down enough to talk lucidly with the insurance claims person and file a claim for a stolen car. I am sure the Insurance Company will now apply the $500 deductable to what they calculate the car is worth and give me a pittance. Life is sometimes not fair.

Fortunately, the policeman give me a Stolen Vehicle Report, which I in turn have given to the Insurance Company.

So I don't know where this situation is going to wind up, but I have decided it is in God's hands now. So God, I await your manifestation of the conclusion of this situation.

I am still upset however, as I am only human.

God Bless from the ga hillbillly.
