Howdy folks! Well here it is, late Sunday night and I am not ready to go to sleep yet, even though I have to be up at 6:00am.
The last two weeks have not been much fun. Having to cut into the walls in my house in three different places so that I could find both ends of the leaking hot water pipe was no fun. Once both ends of the pipe were cut off and capped, then I had to cut into the existing copper hot water line, insert and solder transition joints from copper to cpvc then crawl around in the attic installing pvc pipe.
Of course I lost my footing and fell through the ceiling, so I now have four holes to fix, three in walls and one in the ceiling.
During the last week I have finally been able to start closing up and sealing the ceiling and walls.
But wait!!! This past Sunday some kids came up into my driveway and shot out my van's rear window with bb guns. I didn't catch them or even see them, but I called the police and filed a report anyway. I was able to find a replacement window for $75.00 which was a real bargain. The cheapest price I could find elsewhere started at $150.00.
Anyway The window has been replaced and I can run the air conditioning again.
Well I guess I will quit and try and get some sleep. Gotta go earn a living.
