Too much water!!

Well! hello everyone.
I know that the Gulf Coast is in bad shape with all of the water drowning it.
Well, I have my own problems with too much water. It seems that my hot water line (copper) that runs underneath my concrete slab has busted open and is spewing huge volumes of water out under the foundation and final out under the patio then into the back yard where I now have a huge mud puddle, it might even be called a quaqmire it is so deep. My water bill went from an average of $35.00 per month to $187.00 per month.
Boy I can't afford this. So now in order to fix it, I either have to take a jakehammer to the concrete floor and dig a trench until I locate the leak, then repair/replace the pipe. then mix up concrete and fill the trench back in.
Oh yes, did I mention that the new tile floor and new carpeting, and the kitchen cabinets would all have to be replaced.
I have decided I am not going to jackhammer the floor. Instead I am capping of the hot water line before it goes under the slab, and running a new pipe up the wall from the hot water heater across the attic, then down the wall between the bathrooms and attach it to the fixtures in the bathrooms. Moving insulation is easier then moving concrete, don't you think.
Well it is late and need to get some sleep for work tommorrow.
