The Constant Fighting in the Middle East!

Well folks, it has been a long dry spell for this blog. I had to go to the hospital today to have blood drawn after fasting all night and half the morning, so I stopped at a Waffle House to have some breakfast, and some coffee, especially some coffee. While waiting for my meal I struck up a conversation with another gentleman about the fighting in Iraq, Isreal, Palastine, Afganistan, and other parts of the middle east. He said, the fighting never seems to stop. I looked at him and said, and why would you expect it to. Look at the history of that entire region. For thousands of years the mostly tribal culture has fought each other for anything and everything. Even when there were periods of so called peace it was enforced by a warlord that killed off anybody that tried to break away or take over as the Kaliff, or as the Shah, or whatever. Look at the Bible and at the Koran, they both provide a history of killing, killing, war, and more war. Enslavement was a part of life. The Isrealite Tribe were slaves of the Egyptions for centuries, and it goes on in that vain through out the history of the region. All of the peace genes have long ago been destroyed, the survival of the warrior and killer is paramount.
So! again I say, Why should anything change in the middle east, it isn't any different now then it has been for thousands of years.
I would love to hear your opinions on this subject.

Bye for now from the good old gahillbilly.
