Dealing with the US Post Office.

Hello folks,

You know, all my life I have believed that the Post Office was here to serve you and I, you know the general public.

So when I put in a change of address, I did so as a family so both my and my wife's mail would be forwarded. Did that happen? No! the address change was put in as and individual for my mail only. Bah! I spent over an hour with two different individuals, one at the 1 800 number and the other at my former post office in Jonesboro trying to make sure that all of our mail gets forwarded.

Did it do any good, I certainly hope so. I said to the Postal Clerk at the Jonesboro Post office that, "You don't want me going Postal, over this do you." He laughed and said, "No I would rather you didn't do that."

Geez! it seems that the faster and better our communications gets, the worse it gets for us individuals.

As a side note, there are a lot of catalogs, and junk mail, that could just as easily be dropped in the lost letter file, or in someplace else, I won't name.

God Bless us all
