FINALLY, I FINISHED MY DAUGHTERS SEWING TABLE SHELVES.

Finally, I finished my daughters sewing table shelves.

Here are pictures of my youngest daughters shelves for under her sewing table. It has taken me too long to make them, but I finally finished them today and delivered them today. As it turns out today is her and Daecons 12 wedding anniversary. How's that for Karma?
The really wonderful thing about these shelves, is the fact that they are just the right height for her waist, so that when she is bending over to do pattern work, it will aid her back instead of hurting it. At least, that is what it should do. Since I am a practiced industrial design engineer skilled in man/machine interface design, I'm pretty sure it will work.

My hope is that she will use it in good health. Doing this for my daughter, reminds me of the many things I had to design and build in order for Claudia to be able to the things she needed to do around the house and to drive a car. I still have the specially made platform rocker that we had made while living in Texas, especially for her size. For those of you that don't know, Claudia was only 4 foot 10 inches tall, so normal size furniture didn't fit her very well.

Well, that's all from the Georgia hillbilly.
God Bless.

  1. And I love it! I'm re-arranging everything. Again. I'm already certain it will ease the strain on my lower back.
