Today has been a bit of a trial.
First I had an appointment with my Heart Specialist this morning at 10:15AM. Now, his office is in Piedmont downtown which is approximately 30 miles from home. If you know Atlanta's traffic problems, nuff said.Anyway we discussed whether I should opt for having another one of the new, still experimental heart cath's done to open up still another closed artery on my heart. I had two arteries cleared and stents installed in January and they have helped a lot, but I still have angina attacks(heart attacks) when I overdo it. When that happens I take a nitro which usually calms things down.
The success rate with the operation in question is above 90 percent, and having had it done twice now, I'm not really afraid of it. But the operation is very intrusive and post op is very painful.
For now the Doctor and I have decided to leave things as they are for another 4 months and see how things shape up. I will of course call him immediately if I suddenly take a turn for the worse.
On another issue altogether, I returned home and got Dahli harnessed up, loaded in the van and headed out to a low cost clinic to get her rabies vaccination. Well I went out to the designated location and drove around trying to find it with no luck. So I wasted an hour and a half and too much gas. So I returned home without said vaccinated. Sigh! I will have to try another time.
Now it is almost time to pick up the grand kids for the TKO class.
Blessings to all, the gahillbilly.
