USING WHAT'S AVAILABLE WHEN FIXING A MEAL.

Using what's available to fix a meal.

First I will preface this by saying my wife was a master at creating meals from leftovers and whatever was available in cupboard, refrigerator, and/or freezer.

While I am a fairly good cook, I learned a lot from Claudia.

So today, I was looking at a fairly large container of macaroni, leftover from when I made some meatballs in order to use up the tomato sauce from my stuffed peppers. There were no meatballs left so I took a couple of bacon/chedder flavored smoked sausages plus some chopped onions from the freezer, sliced up the sausage; then sauteed both in olive oil and added all this to the macroni with italian flavored tomato sauce.
It turned out to be a very flavorable and filling meal.

I even have enough left for another meal.

God blesses me, as I live in a nice home, and have decent food to eat.

that's all from the Georgia hillbilly.
