TOO MANY MEDICATIONS
I don't talk about all the medications I take, nor do I talk about the supplements I also take.
But I have 11, count them 11 prescribed medications. Some are once a day, some are twice a day, and some are three times a day.
I also take 10 supplements a day. The supplements are taken as a means to support my health.
I have routine blood panels done to ensure all of my needed or required blood chemicals are maintained in balance.
This includes, such items as my magnesium, potassium, iron, and other minerals are kept up to snuff.
I understand what each of my meds are for and what they do, but give me a break, 21 different items to have to dole out each week, and then remember to take them three times a day.
I challenge anybody else to do what I have to do.
I'm not even going to discuss how much all these meds cost, but it is a lot. Yes, I pay just a co pay, but they are still expensive, and the supplements I have to pay full price for them, even though I try to buy them on sale.
Ah well, life goes on.
